Associate Minister Charles E. Banks Sr., a native of Independence, Louisiana is married to LaVerne Banks. They have four children.
Brother Banks professed Christ on November 28, 1971 at the age of 18 and was called into the ministry in 1997. Brother Banks went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 1, 2020.
Throughout his walk with Christ, Brother Banks held the position as Head of the Deacon Board for over 12 years. He also serves as Vice President and Treasurer on the Board of Trustees of the Roland James Allen Evangelical Association. In addition, Brother Banks heads the committee for the married couples as well as financial freedom counseling.
His participation in missionary endeavors has included various towns in Texas, Arizona, Oklahoma Indian Reservations, Virginia, Florida, Louisiana, Canada and Central America. Recently, Brother Banks traveled to Guatemala City, Guatemala and Punta Gorda, Belize Central America to help spread the gospel and show the love of Christ. Brother Banks’ vision for the ministry is to “Help keep the work of God moving.”
